The kick-off meeting of “International Solar Building Design Competition 2019”, with Delta as the exclusive title sponsor, was held in Beijing, with the organizing committee choosing Hebei Xinglong Starry Park Station and Zhejiang Fengxi Rose Educational Research Base as the competition topics. The competition aimed to build a green, low carbon, and healthy research base through optimizing architectural design and making use of renewable energy technologies such as solar energy, upholding the philosophy of “Let the dreams become reality”.
Chairman Tan Tian-Wei of China Renewable Energy Association, secretary general Zhong Ji-Shou of the Architectural Society of China, chairman Song Yuan of the China Architecture Design & Research Group, Delta’s chief brand officer Guo Shan-Shan, and Delta’s spokesperson Jesse Chou attended and participated in the launching ceremony of the competition. Together, they unveiled the two competition topics for “International
Solar Building Design Competition 2019”.
Delta’s chief brand officer Guo Shan-Shan represented the title sponsor in expressing that they were very happy that this year’s competition was able to focus on rural revitalization, as it increased the added values from development of villages and townships through research base and stations while promoting the sustainable development of villages. Since 2006, Delta has been the title sponsor of “Solar Building Design Competition”, playing a great role in promoting energy efficient and eco-friendly green buildings. “Constructing Green buildings with Delta” published early this year fully records Delta’s journey in learning and promotion of green buildings over the years. Delta also produces mini-movies and holds exhibitions all over the world, so that more people can understand the advantages of energy efficiency for buildings in adapting to global climate change.
