In order to promote corporate sustainability, Delta is aligning itself with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The company follows up on climate change and implements real actions to reduce carbon emissions. In 2017, Delta became one of the first to set a Science Based Target (SBT) for carbon reduction. The company designated 2014 as the record year, with a goal of a reduction of 56.6% in greenhouse gas intensity by 2025. The company's target is the first in Taiwan and among the first 100 globally to have been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). At the same time, Delta has established an internal carbon pricing to internalize the economic costs of carbon emissions from its operations as a management tool in support of the company's de-carbonization strategy. It is a practical action that echoes to the 2 degrees Celsius of global warming limit. He said "Earth's climate is already in a mess in comparison to past years. The North Pole ice caps continue to melt. By estimations of environmental groups, without effective action, the global sea level may rise 6 meters in this century."

GVM understands that social enterprises are a part of the current-day enterprise spectrum, and it has become a bridge for promoting social enterprises while serving as a media platform by discovering outstanding models of these social enterprises. This year, the magazine has held the first GVM Social Enterprise Award - Social Enterprise Star and invited the winner of the 1st "Ethical Entrepreneur" Bruce Cheng as a presenter for his long-term devotion to CSR.
