Delta was awarded the 3rd "R. O. C. (Taiwan) Presidential Innovation Award". The award was received personally by the Chairperson of Delta Electronics, Yancey Hai on April 30. The judges think that Delta is devoted to innovation and its sustainable development model gave Taiwanese innovation an opportunity to shine on international stage.

Yancey expressed: Innovation is Delta's corporate culture. In 2017, our R&D budget is 7.2% of the global revenue. We currently hold 8,687 patents and have been listed in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) World Index for seven consecutive years and as a Top 20 International Brand from Taiwan. Our brand value is worth USD 250 million. On an environmental and social level, Delta has made self-determined contributions to carbon reduction. Our plants and offices continue to improve and innovate power-efficient solutions, and we promote green buildings as well as environmental and energy education through culture and arts.
