Delta articulated robot DRV series wins the iF design award

Designed and developed by Delta, vertical articulated robot DRV series won 2018 iF Design Award 2018 for its smart functions, elegant appearance and high quality design, becoming a masterpiece of Delta in smart manufacturing and aesthetics. The six-axis multi-degree-of-freedom industrial robot features a white color tone, and simple and clean curved streamline, highlighting the robot’s agility, swiftness and precision characteristics. Featuring a maximum working radius of 710mm/900mm and maximum loading of 7kg, it satisfies the requirements of 
flexible process in light industry.

The DRV70L Series completes SCARA robot function tests on Delta’s production line to reduce manpower, shorten testing time, and enhance testing efficiency

According to general manager of Delta’s IABG, Andy Liu, making use of industrial robots in the era of smart manufacturing can save manpower cost, improve product quality, increase process flexibility and reduce operation time, a major trend in production line automation and smart factory development. The design of Delta’s vertical articulated robot DRV series targets on industry’s application requirements. It can realize flexibility and multi-tasking, and has an elegant appearance and user-friendly software and hardware design. Therefore, it is able to stand out from the 6,402 works of 54 countries, winning one of the 1,218 iF awards. It proves that Delta robots not only meet industrial expectation, but its appearance and quality are of very high standard. In the future, Delta will continue to launch more high-end and advanced smart manufacturing related products, assisting customers in implementing industrial upgrade.
