The tenth "China CSR Welfare Ceremony" held by Xinhua Net was hosted at Beijing Qinghua University, where Delta was honored with "2017 China Award of Corporate CSR Excellence". Delta's achievement from its long-term dedication to environment friendliness and energy efficiency received unanimous recognition from the evaluation committee.

Working closely related to the 17 goals of sustainable development announced by UN in 2015, Delta's high-performance energy-efficient products and solutions have cumulatively saved 20.8 billion degrees of electricity for its customers in the past 7 years. In the past 10 some years, it constructed 25 factories and green buildings donated by educations sectors worldwide. Its Shanghai operation center recently received the highest platinum certification by LEED-EB (for current buildings). Compared to buildings of similar geographical setting worldwide, it offers up to 60% and 46% of savings in electricity and water.

In response to the commitment to reduce carbon emissions worldwide, Delta also proposed a commitment for corporate self-initiation that seeks 30% of further reduction on overall density of power use in 2020, on top of the basis of 50% of reduction in major points of operation between 2009 and 2014. In addition, Delta also has partnership programs in place with institutes of higher education and research agencies, including the "education program for power electronics" with ten schools including Qinghua University since 2000, the "DGC Scholar of Environment Laws" and "DGC Award for Young Scholars of Environment Laws" set up in 2011, and "Delta Cup Contest in College Automation Design" held since 2014 to nurture talents in smart manufacturing.
