In February, Delta Electronics Japan hosted the AI Data Center Forum 2026 in Tokyo, bringing together more than 110 professionals from across the rapidly evolving AI data center ecosystem. Participants represented a wide range of sectors, including financial institutions, real estate and infrastructure investors, data center operators, energy and telecommunications companies, system integrators, construction and engineering firms, as well as leading global technology providers.
The forum served as a platform for dialogue across the entire AI data center value chain—from financing and infrastructure development to system deployment and operations. By gathering stakeholders from multiple industries, the event created an opportunity to exchange perspectives on the challenges and opportunities associated with the rapid expansion of AI-driven digital infrastructure.
Distinguished speakers from across the ecosystem shared insights from their respective fields, covering topics such as energy infrastructure, telecommunications networks, semiconductor performance, hyperscale data center development, industrial engineering, and construction. Their presentations highlighted the structural changes currently underway in the industry and offered practical viewpoints on how different sectors can collaborate to support the next generation of AI infrastructure.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Kengo Ka, President of Delta Japan, emphasized that the AI data center industry is approaching a critical turning point. As computing demand continues to accelerate, challenges related to power supply, infrastructure development, and system integration can no longer be addressed by individual companies alone. He underscored the importance of knowledge sharing and cross-industry collaboration, and expressed Delta’s commitment to creating platforms where stakeholders can come together to discuss the future of digital and energy infrastructure.
During the forum, Delta also introduced its integrated approach to AI data center solutions, highlighting technologies such as high-efficiency power systems, scalable modular infrastructure, and advanced energy management platforms designed to support increasingly demanding AI workloads. The event concluded with a panel discussion under the theme “Energy and Digital Paradigm Shift.” Industry experts discussed the structural challenges facing AI data center development, including the growing interdependence between semiconductor performance, digital workloads, energy systems, and grid infrastructure. The discussion emphasized that closer coordination across these domains will be essential in shaping the next generation of AI platforms.

By convening key stakeholders from across industries, the forum demonstrated Delta’s commitment to contributing to the development of sustainable and scalable AI data center infrastructure while fostering collaboration within the broader ecosystem. Building on this initiative, Delta Japan plans to host another forum in July 2026 focused on next-generation energy, further advancing discussions on the future of energy and digital infrastructure.
