Text by CTO Office 2026/06

The 18th annual Delta Innovation Award ceremony and summit forum recently came to a successful close. Celebrating the ingenuity of Delta's global talent, a total of 12 teams and 9 individuals emerged victorious this year, sharing a total prize pool of over NT$12 million. The event not only highlights Delta’s strong innovation capabilities, but also underscores its long-standing commitment to fostering R&D talent, turning innovation into action, and strengthening corporate competitiveness through structured mechanisms.

Delta’s founder, executive management team, and panel of judges join the winning teams to celebrate this major innovation milestone

This year’s awards covered a comprehensive scope across four main categories: "Intellectual Property," "New Products," "Manufacturing," and "New Business Model and New Business Process." This broad framework ensures that innovation isn't just confined to product R&D, but is deeply embedded in daily operations, factory floors, and business strategy. By opening the stage to diverse roles and departments, Delta has successfully turned innovation into a shared, company-wide daily practice.

From cross-domain collaboration to real-world impact
At the summit forum held alongside the awards, winning teams took the stage to share their initial concepts, technical breakthroughs, and practical insights. This turned the annual celebration into a powerful platform for cross-departmental learning and dialogue. This year’s winning projects spanned key sectors including power electronics, smart manufacturing, AI applications, sustainability, and energy efficiency. Crucially, most of these initiatives involved collaboration across multiple business units, turning great ideas into scalable, real-world solutions that answer actual market demands. As these valuable insights are shared across the company, individual breakthroughs are scaling up into collective organizational momentum, driving Delta's long-term growth.

Global teams gather online to exchange R&D insights and share project successes to spark new ideas

Innovation is the cornerstone of Delta’s corporate culture, backed by an annual investment of 8% to 10% of company revenue into R&D. Moving forward, Delta will continue to leverage the Innovation Award as a co-creation platform—bridging cross-disciplinary talents, fueling internal growth momentum, and laying a rock-solid foundation for the next wave of technological breakthroughs.
