At the Smart Production Solutions (SPS) exhibition 2025 in Nuremberg, Germany, Delta showcased a series of smart manufacturing solutions featuring human-machine collaboration safety. Highlighted exhibits included the Delta D-Bot Robot Platform, which integrates a radar-based safety system and AI cognitive module. Delta also exhibited its Functional Safety Solutions and the RGB-D ToF Camera. The highly scalable and flexible solutions support the growth of SMEs to address global localization challenges.

Delta’s key highlights at SPS 2025:

Delta D-Bot robotic platform: The platform’s modular design enables scalability and shortens commissioning time, making it suitable for both SMEs and large enterprises. Delta D-Bot can integrate a radar system to ensure reliable and real-time detection even in harsh environments and immediately slows down or stops when operators enter within the safety zone. Meanwhile, the Cognibot-Kit enables Delta D-Bot to interact with natural language and to auto-adjust an optimal path when the environment changes, resulting in smoother and more intuitive human-robot collaboration.

Functional safety control and drive solutions: The newly launched functional safety module of the Advanced IIoT Controller AX-5 Series features built-in Safety over EtherCAT (FSoE). The distributed safety protection enhances protection of specific areas, making the AX-5 ideal for large-scale applications, including warehousing & logistics, food & beverages, packaging, and woodworking. The AX-5 can be paired with the TÜV SIL3-certified ASDA-A3-EP Servo System, which supports 13 comprehensive safety functions.

RGB-D ToF camera DMV-TM series: Featuring a compact design, the DMV-TM Series combines high-precision 3D depth sensing with 2D imaging to enable accurate object recognition and positioning. It can be integrated with Delta’s DIAVision Machine Vision Platform to allow centralized management of application design, custom development, and peripheral integration. The DMV-TM is ideal for applications of AMRs, forklifts and humanoid robots, conveyor tracking and precise pick-and-place.

The Delta D-Bot integrates a radar-based safety system that provides reliable, real-time detection even in harsh environments. When a person enters the safety zone, the robot immediately slows down or stops.
