Delta debuts at Seoul's "Net Zero and Energy Policy International Conference"

The 5th Net Zero and Energy Policy International Conference, jointly organized by the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and the Center for Asia-Pacific Studies (CAPS), was successfully held in Seoul. Shan Shan Guo, Chief Brand Officer, and Jesse Chou, Chief Sustainability Officer, attended as invited guests, joining over 300 global climate leaders, international ambassadors, and representatives from academia, government, and industry. The event focused on the themes of "Net Zero Innovation for a Sustainable Future" and "Collaborative Innovation," exploring how the global business environment can create a better future amidst ongoing transformations.

Shan Shan Guo, Chief Brand Officer, joined Prime Minister Han De-joo of South Korea, IPCC Chairman Li Huicheng, Ms. Helen Clarkson, CEO of Climate Group, Ms. Ruth Shapiro, Co-founder and Chair of CAPS, Mr. Choi Tae-yuan, Chairman of KCCI, and other leaders from diverse sectors at the 5th Net Zero and Energy Policy International Conference in Seoul. They posed for a group photo during the opening ceremony.

During business exchanges, Shan Shan Guo, Chief Brand Officer presented on the topic of "Achieving an Intelligent and Sustainable Future" and shared Delta's core solutions in energy efficiency. She emphasized Delta's experiences in energy-saving and carbon reduction in transportation and construction sectors, as well as its long-term participation in COP (Conference of the Parties) United Nations Climate Change conferences, promoting them to the international community. In discussions with representatives from Asian companies such as Ayala Corporation, Kasikornbank, and Miniwiz, they explored corporate actions and opportunities in the net-zero trend.

In the conference's keynote speeches, IPCC Chairman Li Huicheng cited the IPCC AR6 assessment report, emphasizing the key elements of global climate action. Helen Clarkson, CEO of Climate Group, introduced international initiatives driving energy transition in South Korea and mentioned the participation of over 800 government organizations and businesses in these initiatives.

This conference provided Delta with a valuable opportunity to engage with global leaders and strengthened its influence on the international stage. Delta is committed to creating an intelligent and sustainable future and actively promotes the transformation of the global business environment through its participation in international events.
