With human-centric design, Delta Control discovers the carbon reduction potential of transportation
Text by DGC 2022/08

With the rapid increase in traffic and transportation, the related energy consumption and carbon emissions are also increasing exponentially. In order to fulfill their social responsibilities of green development, Bijie High Speed Rail in China chose to adopt Delta Controls building management technology to discover the energy conservation and carbon reduction potential of transportation.

5-in-1 transportation control hub
The Bijie High Speed Rail and Bus Service Hub is located in Lishu Town, Jinhaihu Area, China. It covers an area of 224 acres and is a "5-in-1" hub that connects the high speed rail with railways, mid- to long-range bus services, city transportation, and airports. To properly manage the four main relationships between energy conservation and safety, efficiency, service, and investment of the station, Delta Controls with human-centric design demonstrates the advantage of "centralized management and dispersed controls".

Digitized operations discover energy conservation potential
Delta Controls has created a multi-function network management model for the Bijie High Speed Rail and Bus Service Hub. It has integrated the electromechanical equipment monitoring system, energy management system, and smart lighting system.

By managing the equipment with computer programs, the system can formulate energy-saving strategies through data analysis.

The implementation of computer control programs to conduct monitoring and control of the entire station can realize the export of big data, allowing managers to summarize energy-use patterns, discover energy conservation potential, and create a basis for stipulating effective energy-saving measures.
