GEM program: training in Taiwan, working in the home country
The GEM program is a recruitment initiative tailored for international professionals, particularly in R&D and manufacturing. Participants undergo a 3- to 12-month training program at Delta's headquarters in Taiwan. This experience enables them to gain an in-depth knowledge of Delta's operational processes, core responsibilities, and professional skills while building a global perspective.
The GEM program has focused on attracting and nurturing outstanding talent worldwide since 2023. Participants receive up to one year of training in Taiwan, with flexible content tailored to their roles and expertise. The program deepens their professional knowledge, familiarizes them with Delta's operations and product development processes, and fosters cross-departmental collaboration. Participants benefit from a personalized training plan, one-on-one mentorship, and guided learning sessions. The program also includes assessments for post-training assignments. After completing the training, participants transition to roles in countries such as the United States, India, and Thailand, laying the groundwork for promoting Delta's solutions in local markets. To date, over 20 international professionals have joined the program, with nearly 10 completing their training in Taiwan and transitioning to overseas roles. These positions include automation engineers, mechanical engineers, and field application engineers, which will drive Delta's business growth in regional markets.

Industry-academia collaboration program: bridging campus and workplace, nurturing future talent
In recent years, Delta has expanded its presence in the Americas, Europe, China, Thailand, and India. Beyond recruiting local professionals, Delta's HR team has actively developed industry-academia collaboration programs to provide young students with internship opportunities that bridge academic knowledge with practical experience.
Delta (Thailand) partnered with Chiang Mai University and King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang to select 20 senior-year students for the "3+2 Bachelor-Master Program" in collaboration with Chang Gung University, focusing on power electronics research in 2024. This program, which launched in late August of 2024, is the first of its kind. Delta fully subsidizes the students' tuition fees for two years, and arranges summer internships and post-graduation employment opportunities for the students, helping them to further develop their professional skills and career plans. Upon graduation, these students will return to Thailand and join Delta (Thailand), and become a key force in connecting the company with the local market.

As manufacturing continues to thrive in South India, cultivating automation talent has become a critical success factor for Make in India. In 2024, Delta, in collaboration with Yuan Ze University and SASTRA University, launched an international industry-academia training program. This program selects 10 of India’s top master's students to study in Taiwan and focus on cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and robotics, with a particular emphasis on the implementation and application of intelligent automation technologies. The one-year program is fully funded by Delta, covering all expenses, providing scholarships, and offering internship opportunities at Delta facilities. This initiative enables students to integrate academic theory with practical experience, laying a solid foundation for future support of the local manufacturing industry.

Attracting global talents to strengthen international competitiveness
Delta's GEM and industry-academia collaboration programs have yielded remarkable results. These initiatives not only attract professionals and young talents from diverse cultural backgrounds but also provide them with specialized training in Taiwan, where they gain an in-depth understanding of Delta's corporate culture and core values.
