By centering our actions around preventative healthcare, work-life balance, unique experiences and social welfare, we create a supportive and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.

Stronger Together: empowering a healthy and thriving workforce
At Delta, we believe that the first step to a thriving workforce is the well-being of our employees. Therefore, employees are empowered to take control of their health by creating moments of fun and engagement that contribute both to our physical and mental well-being. Whether it’s the live Yoga and Zumba classes in Fremont, organized as part of Delta’s PLUS Strategy, participating in running and cycles races across the EMEA region or attending health days focused on nutrition, these experiences allow employees challenge themselves and thereby strengthen their body, minds and bonds with each other. As a company, we are committed to encourage our employees to prioritize their health directly at work and ensuring they feel supported on their health journey.

Creating Moments of Joy: enhancing work-life balance for employees and their families
We however also understand that attaining true health goes beyond physical activity: it also extends to creating a balance between work, our personal lives and mental well-being. We recognize that the support networks of our employees – especially their families – are an important part of their success in achieving this. To show gratitude for their invaluable, ongoing support, we bring employees and their loved ones together in meaningful ways. For instance, Delta Singapore recently held a family day at Universal Studios, where families enjoyed a day of thrill, fun and laughter. In a similar way, Delta Slovakia organized a family day featuring virtual reality games, workshops and a company tour, offering families a glimpse into the innovative projects their loved ones contribute to. These events not only allow us to express our appreciation nit also instill a sense of pride among Delta’s extended family.

Embracing Unique Experiences: a workplace where everyone can thrive
As a global company, we are also committed to creating a work environment where diverse ideas and perspectives flourish, fueling our innovation. We celebrate the cultural richness of our global workforce through events that honor various traditions and backgrounds and encourage our employees to explore different cultures while also staying connected to their own roots. For example, the Holi celebration at our India office is a vibrant festival of colors and Delta Thailand’s One Day Trips invite expatriates and new hires to discover Bangkok’s iconic landmarks and enrich their cultural experiences together with their families.

And while we look forward to these special occasions, we also ensure that we celebrate culture and diversity on a day-to-day basis so employees feel like they belong and can openly share their ideas and build lasting relationships. Whether through international potlucks, town hall meetings or any other opportunities where we meet and connect, we ensure that every voice is heard and every culture and individual is celebrated and respected.

Making an impact together in our communities through our social welfare initiatives
Finally, Delta’s commitment to creating the best possible environments also extends to our communities around us as we recognize that thriving as a community means giving back and making a positive impact on the world. This is why we focus on our ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) goals, creating meaningful opportunities for our employees to make a direct difference. Activities like the Pacific Beach Cleanup, where 300 volunteers gather together to preserve the natural state of the Pacific shore, or the EMEA team’s efforts to clean Amsterdam’s canals and plant trees help our environmental conservation efforts but also reinforce our sense of community and purpose and we hope to inspire further initiatives to the community around us.

In summary, creating a unique and authentic employee experience at Delta is a not one-time effort – it’s our ongoing commitment that we build step by step, day by day. Our various events and initiatives combined create our employee experience strategy, each one contributing to a workplace where employees feel valued, supported and inspired. By focusing on health and community initiatives, we ensure that our employees thrive both inside and outside of work, ensuring that we can  achieve the spirit of inclusion.
