Delta's 8K projection showcases Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics opening ceremony

Delta used 8K projection technology to vividly present the live broadcast of the opening of the Beijing's Snow & Ice Festival at the China National Film Museum (CNFM) and the National Centre for the Performing Arts. The adoption of "5G+8K" technology, combining 5G wireless transmission technology and a 25,000 lumens 8K laser projector to present every exciting moment in exquisite detail with ultra-clear picture quality and immerse the audience in the spectacle-watching experience. In addition, during the event, The China National Film Museum (CNFM) also used Delta’s projection technology to broadcast a number of important games in 8K Ultra HD, allowing the audience outside the arena to experience the charm of ice-racing, perfectly combining the beauty and power of technology.  8K is an ultra-high-definition imaging technology with a resolution of 7,680 x 4,320, which can present dynamic images of up to 33.17 million pixels with a picture resolution 16 times more than 2K resulting in a more immersive experience. With the advent of the 5G era, the 8K industry will have broader development prospects and provide viewers with a more diverse 8K viewing experience.

This is not the first time that Delta's 8K projection technology has collaborated with The China National Film Museum (CNFM) and the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA). In January 2021, the first 8K live broadcast of 2021 at the NCPA in Beijing also used Delta's high-brightness Digital Projection INSIGHT 8K Laser to present the magnificent performance of "Beijing Chorus" to the audience at CNFM.
