2019 EMEA partner event took place in Tenerife, Spain to celebrate the success together during the past two years

On the first day of December 2019, partners of Delta EMEA region made their way to the Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora hotel in Tenerife to celebrate their success together during the past two years, to gain new insights into future technologies, and to discover new opportunities. In total there were 170 partners with Delta employees from 40 countries to participate in this grand event. 

The event was a great chance for Delta’s partners in EMEA to learn more about Delta’s solutions, to relax over dinner, enjoy the sunshine and other interesting activities. The theme of the event was “Together, we achieve more.” Partners were able to learn and understand much more about Delta as an energy-efficient solution provider, and discover synergies both with Delta and with other partners through the various face-to-face interaction opportunities.

Mr. Yancey Hai, Chairman of Delta Electronics, explained the company’s global vision and mission. Mr. Dalip Sharma, EMEA’s president and regional head, described the outlook for Delta’s future development in the EMEA region, and how we need to tightly co-work with our partners to “ride” together to achieve better. Aside from the greater vision, seven EMEA business directors presented detailed insights into the trends, opportunities, achievements and challenges in three important application areas: 5G and Datacenter; Energy Infrastructure and EV Charging Infrastructure; and lloT, Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing. 3 of Delta’s partners also presented their success stories and shared with the participants on the projects they have worked on. 

After the fruitful presentations, a series of team-building activities were conducted on a local beach. 16 teams fought it out for Olympic-style first, second and third places. The closing gala dinner was held in a local banana plantation, with an award ceremony incorporated which 11 partners received performance awards. All of the participants have enjoyed the unique experience in dining at such a unique place and everyone had a pleasant evening to celebrate the success achieved in the past and the better future we will work together to achieve.

By the end of the event, the partners had a fresh understanding of Delta’s wide range of products and solutions, new insights into future technology directions and, in many cases, some embryonic business relationships with partners and previously unfamiliar parts of Delta.
