Technologies like Industrial Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, advanced robot technology, big data and data analytics are constantly evolving, which have the potential to bring about a radical transformation of traditional industries and manufacturing processes; not all companies, however, possess the knowledge or expertise to adopt these technologies in a manner that’s best suited for their business models and operations. As a result, many companies are actively looking for customized and interactive training solutions to help their talent cultivation needed at the time of business transformation.
For this reason, TÜV SÜD PSB, located in Singapore, a branch of TÜV SÜD, German Testing, Inspection, Training and Certification Group, has signed a three-year Memorandum of Cooperation with Delta. Both parties will make good use of the rich experience of TÜV SÜD PSB in interactive instructor-led and e-learning courses, as well as the expertise of Delta in areas such as advanced manufacturing, smart industry, cyber-physical systems and analytics, both parties will co-develop new training courses that help companies embark on digital transformation and improve their manufacturing competitiveness. TÜV SÜD PSB and Delta will also develop a web-based and mobile application based learning platform that will allow users to complete e-learning courses covering various, important aspects of Industry 4.0 paradigm.
