General Manager of DGC IABG, Eric Chen, was awarded “Smart Manufacturing Leadership Award”, and Delta’s self-developed high-speed inverter C2000-HS series received the “Breakthrough Award.” Eric Chen was invited to the event, and expounded the topic of responding to “the trend of industrial economy downturn; interconnectivity and integration of industry and network; hold on to one’s own expertise or seek cross-industry breakthrough.”

Eric Chen pointed out that as manufacturers are transforming towards digitization and intelligentization, they have to maintain their core business, insist on developing projects according to their advantage, and work on exploring the industry’s customer requirements and development direction, so as to get ready for the future. They also have to change their mode of thinking, actively expanding, establishing themselves and keeping up with the new industry, in order to get ahead of others in smart manufacturing.
