At COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2018, Delta showcased its IoT architecture-conforming "Smart Buildings Solution" and “Micro-grid Solutions” through the scenarios of an EV charging station that combines both shopping and leisure. Delta showcased the V2H/V2G two-way EV charger for the first time. On the opening day, management figures, CEO Ping Cheng, CBO Shan-shan Guo, Spokesperson Jesse Chou, General Manager of the BABG Bill Lo, General Manager of the EISBG Herman Chang, and Vice President of the ESDBD James Chen, shared how Delta has realized energy sustainability with technologies.

Cheng accentuated, “Delta has been continuously improving the energy efficiency of its components since its establishment. Through integration of software and hardware, it has expanded into management of the overall energy efficiency for the indoor systems and even micro-grids. By combining industry knowledge with its core technologies in power electronics, Delta has partnered with the industrial ecosystems to gear itself toward the five key markets, namely IA, BA, ICT infrastructure, energy infrastructure, and EV in an effort to provide customers with solutions that conform to the IoT architecture."
Guo expressed, "This year we built a hybrid electric vehicle charging station at COMPUTEX, which shows the balance and adjustment of the micro-grid through scenes from daily life. The energy education is also integrated into the exhibition, and various scenarios of the micro-grid operation are demonstrated through the grid control screen, allowing the visitors to see that Delta not only saves energy, but also solves the demand for electricity with its innovative technology to create an energy-sustainable city."
For smart buildings, Delta has collaborated with its subsidiaries such as Delta Controls, LOYTEC and VIVOTEK. In response to the issues of air pollution, Delta has launched an indoor environmental quality service program. For micro-grid infrastructure, the outdoor charging station in the exhibition area incorporates Delta's V2H/V2G bi-directional EV charger, which has actually been operated in the energy storage containers and power control system that in Delta's Ako Green Energy Park in Japan and Shulin Site of Taiwan Power Research Institute.
Innergie, a consumer power brand of Delta, exhibited the PowerGearTM 60C laptop charger, which won recognition of the COMPUTEX TAIPEI Best Choice Gold Award, and a series of the latest USB PD charger products. The PowerGearTM 60C is the world’s smallest (60-watt grade of output power), high-power, high-efficiency charger.
Through its wireless interactive collaboration products in combination with the NovoDS 4K digital messaging system, Delta also displayed the application scenarios such as digital messaging and collaborative discussions in a coffee shop.
