Delta recognized as top 10 best CSR foreign-funded corporation in China for 11th consecutive year

Delta was honored at the ESG China - 8th Beijing Responsibility Exhibition, where the Corporate Social Responsibility Blue Book 2025 was officially released. Recognized for its excellence in responsibility management, environmental stewardship, and social impact, Delta was ranked among the Top 10 Foreign Companies for the 11th consecutive year. Additionally, Delta was named to the Top 30 Overall Companies list for the eighth time, underscoring its long-term commitment to corporate citizenship.

Delta’s sustainability progress is supported by significant, measurable milestones. In 2024, Delta reduced its Scope 1 and 2 (market-based) carbon emissions by 53.6% compared to the 2021 baseline, marking the third consecutive year the company has met its Science-Based Targets (SBT) interim requirements. Globally, Delta’s renewable electricity usage has reached 84%, with its Mainland China operations achieving an impressive 96%.

These accomplishments earned Delta a spot in the Green Dual Carbon Index Top 10 and the ESG Dual Carbon Pioneer Award. Furthermore, Delta ranked 5th overall in the 2025 Top 50 Industrial Manufacturing Companies in Dual Carbon Action by the Southern Weekly China CSR Research Center, excelling in categories of leadership, emission reduction, innovation, and coordination.

May Wu, Chairperson of the Delta China ESG Committee, noted that this industry recognition highlights Delta’s mission to leverage technology for energy efficiency and climate adaptation. This approach not only contributes to global sustainability but also creates steady long-term growth. Since 2010, Delta’s high-efficiency products have helped customers worldwide save over 52 billion kWh of electricity—equivalent to reducing carbon emissions by 27.09 million tons. In 2024 alone, Delta’s Mainland China sites implemented 177 energy-saving projects, saving 21.27 million kWh of electricity within the year.

Looking ahead, Delta will continue to deepen its ESG integration across three key pillars. In terms of governance, Delta plans to strengthen supply chain management by enhancing the capabilities of internal audit teams and optimizing digital integration platforms. Regarding the environment, the company is advancing green product innovation, climate and energy strategies, and biodiversity initiatives to ensure business and nature thrive together on the path to Net Zero. Finally, on the social front, Delta is prioritizing human capital management to attract top talent and foster continuous professional development, ensuring a sustainable foundation for the company’s future growth.
