Delta India recently celebrated two important achievements that highlight its growing role in advancing India’s sustainable development—partnering with the Bengaluru Metro for station naming rights and breaking ground on the expansion of its Krishnagiri manufacturing campus.

Strengthening Bengaluru’s Urban Infrastructure
Delta announced a significant collaboration with the Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) for the naming rights of the Bommasandra Metro Station, now officially called “Delta Electronics, Bommasandra Metro Station.” The station, a terminal on the new Yellow Line inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on August 10, 2025, is located near Delta India’s Headquarters and Global R&D Centre.Delta Electronics, Bommasandra Metro Station

Benjamin Lin, President of Delta India, congratulated the Central and State Governments as well as BMRCL, noting that the partnership underlines Delta’s vision of Bengaluru as a leading smart and sustainable city. Niranjan Nayak, Managing Director of Delta India, added that the initiative demonstrates Delta’s ESG commitment to be a responsible partner in community building, while reinforcing the company’s longstanding connection with the city and its people.

Expanding Manufacturing Capacity in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu
On September 11, 2025, Delta India held a groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion of its Krishnagiri manufacturing site in Tamil Nadu, with Hon’ble Chief Minister Thiru M.K. Stalin as guest of honor. The event also marked the launch of a new state-of-the-art smart manufacturing line.

Delta’s Chairman and CEO, Ping Cheng, emphasized that this development reflects both the government’s support and Delta’s long-term commitment to sustainability across fields such as AI, 5G, green buildings, e-mobility, and energy infrastructure. Jimmy Yiin, Executive Vice President of Delta, described the expansion as a landmark milestone for Delta’s participation in the “Make in India” initiative. Benjamin Lin, President of Delta India, also highlighted the site’s role as a symbol of India’s manufacturing excellence and Delta’s expertise in eco-friendly production.

The Krishnagiri campus, spread across 95 acres with more than 3,800 employees, is already a major hub for power supplies, DC brushless fans, telecom power systems, industrial automation solutions, data center infrastructure, and e-mobility applications. Two new factory buildings will add further capacity for both domestic and global markets. The advanced production line is also equipped with Delta’s own industrial automation technologies, such as 6-axis articulated robots, 4-axis SCARA robots, servo motion systems, programmable logic controllers (PLC), industrial networking switches. This entire smart automation ecosystem has delivered up to 95% increase in productivity (*) in the production of power supplies for home appliance applications. Aligned with Delta’s sustainability commitments, the site runs on 53% renewable energy and features advanced water and waste management systems, underscoring its role as a green manufacturing benchmark.Delta India held a groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion of its manufacturing site in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu.
