Collaborating with Delta’s smart building technology to create a energy-saving landmark
Text by DGC 2024/06

At the intersection of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the coastline, is the Lingang New Area's first urban planning exhibition center which integrates smart and low-carbon concepts, the Dishuiyun Hall Planning Exhibition Center. Occupying an area of over 8,000 square meters with an exhibition space of 4,500 square meters, this is a versatile facility with multiple functions.

It consistently updates its content and offers flexible space arrangements. From its inception, Dishuiyun Hall was designed with a strong emphasis on sustainable green energy principles. In collaboration with Delta Smart Building Technology, the goal was to focus on energy efficiency, low carbon emissions, and intelligence and create a benchmark for energy-saving architecture in the Lingang area.

Developing an energy visualization and smart management platform
In response to the data from the energy system structure, instruments, and sensors, the Delta Building Control Team and management have established a dedicated project group. This group thoroughly examines the energy usage characteristics of the exhibition center, utilizing Delta's 3D dual-carbon digital management platform. They have created a visual multi-dimensional analysis dashboard that allows for real-time inquiries into the latest energy-saving situations and rapid identification of key issues, thereby comprehensively upgrading the overall energy management.

Achieving integrated management in construction through dual-drive management and digitalization
Through the use of Delta's 3D Dual Carbon Digital Management Platform, the ability to break down carbon reduction goals into various operational management scenarios within a building is achieved. The Delta Building ControlTeam integrates and streamlines carbon reduction-related scenarios such as building equipment operation, energy management, and environmental quality management. This results in a unified building management driven by both administrative and digital means.

- Building facilities management sstem: enhancing equipment operational efficiency
The Delta Building Facilities Management System is employed to oversee, evaluate, modify, and enhance the performance of the building's equipment. This is done with the aim of promoting energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions.

- Building energy management system: creating smart energy efficiency
The Delta Energy Management System continuously monitors daily, monthly, and annual water and electricity usage across various regions. It provides data-driven building energy management, assisting managers in optimizing energy use efficiency and operational efficiency.

- DALI smart lighting system: creating comprehensive energy-saving lighting
The DALI smart lighting system by Delta combines scheduling strategies, personnel sensing, and actual indoor illumination conditions to intelligently control the on/off switches, color temperature, and other aspects of lighting fixtures in each area. This ensures that indoor lighting is natural, comfortable, and energy-efficient.

- UNOnext indoor air quality monitor: ensuring comfortable air quality
Install the Delta UNOnext Indoor Air Quality Detector to monitor air quality, and connect it to the corresponding area's fresh air conditioning unit to enhance indoor air circulation and introduce fresh air, ensuring a safe and comfortable air environment.

Simplifying building management methods, reducing operational costs
Delta Electronics utilizes AI algorithms and a 3D dual-carbon digital management platform to implement multi-dimensional integrated control, significantly reducing operational management costs.

- By detecting the number of occupants, the air conditioning system can respond quickly and adjust as needed. This results in energy efficiency for the building, achieving savings of 10% to 20%.
- Our multi-functional environmental detection system, combined with our AI-integrated air conditioning system, ensures indoor comfort while also resulting in energy savings of between 5% and 15%.
- Through effective lighting management and precise control of indoor human traffic to manage on-site lighting and color temperature, we can accomplish energy savings of 20%-30%.

Leveraging advanced building management technology, Delta has infused the Lingang Dishuiyun Hall Planning Exhibition Center with "smart core energy," establishing a new energy-saving landmark for this new urban area.
