Delta (Japan) held the annual general meeting and year-end banquet at its Tokyo headquarters in December last year, marking a wonderful end to 2023. The meeting not only demonstrated the internal cohesion but also the vitality of our colleagues. The general meeting was divided into two parts. In the morning session, Kengo Ka, President of Delta Electronics (Japan), reviewed the significant accomplishments in 2023 and the future blueprint with the entire colleagues from Japan.
Mr. Kengo Ka shared Delta (Japan)’s message in 2024 of “Let’s Keep on Changing” with the entire colleagues.
Delta’s market in Japan is divided into four focus areas, including renewable energy, factory and building automation solutions, electric vehicle-related products, and infrastructure solutions for data centers.

In terms of renewable energy, Delta introduces green power at low cost through its on-site Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) by installing its own solar power generation at customer sites. Green power solutions such as renewable energy and battery storage, air conditioning, lighting and cloud-based surveillance are used in automation solutions for factories and buildings to save energy and labor expenses. For electric vehicles, Delta provides automotive components and systems based on its years of expertise. In data center energy management, Delta provides micro data center solutions to help customers simplify energy management and risk hedging in the event of a disaster.
In the afternoon session, the top executives from Delta headquarter, Mr. Jesse Chou, Chief Sustainability Officer and Spokesperson, Ms. Maggie Hsia, Project Manager of the Brand Management Division, Mr. KAIJ Wang, Head of the Corporate Strategic Key Accounts, Ms. Lisa Kao, Manager of the Global Business Operations, and Mr. Foster Yu, Chief Solution Officer, to share with DEJ colleagues the latest solution of their respective units as well as the blueprints for 2024. Finally, Mr. Jimmy Yiin, EVP of the Global Business Operations, gave a wonderful conclusion and had an in-depth discussion with all the employees, enabling them to have a deeper understanding of the Company’s development.

Another important part of the conference was the awards ceremony, which honored colleagues who have worked at Delta (Japan) for 10, 20, and 30 years, recognizing the many years of dedication of senior employees and encouraging employees to strive for excellence.

Finally, the annual year-end banquet was held in the evening following the conference, and there were abundant Chinese and Japanese cuisines to satisfy different tastes. All kinds of delicacies allowed colleagues to savor the food and have in-depth conversations at the same time, fostering closer relationship among them. In addition, there were a variety of performances showcasing the talents and multiculturalism of our colleagues, and the atmosphere was filled with laughter and friendly interactions, as if a big family gathering.
As a special part of the evening banquet, celebrating the upcoming birthday of Mr. Kengo Hua (middle), the top executive in the Northeast Asia region, he joyfully invited colleagues who have December birthdays to join him on stage for a commemorative group photo.
