Delta selected as Best Taiwan Global Brands with record-breaking brand value

Delta has been again selected as “2023 Best Taiwan Global Brands” for the 13th consecutive year. The company's brand value has grown steadily for 11 consecutive years. This year, it achieved a 28% increase, reaching 544 million US dollars. Ms. Shan-shan Guo, the Chief Brand Officer, shared that Delta has always maintained a keen market awareness, staying ahead of global trends by making long-term investments in fields such as electric vehicles, industrial automation, building automation, information and communication technology, and energy infrastructure, which has led to impressive business performance in recent years. In 2022, Delta expanded from a pure industrial brand to include a commercial brand, resulting in a comprehensive solution that is smart, energy-efficient and closer to users. This year, it also launched its value proposition - “Realizing an Intelligent, Sustainable, and Connecting World”, expecting to use technology to drive sustainable transformation, provide customers with smart, energy-saving products and services, connect the industrial ecosystem, and co-create value.

Adhering to the mission of “To provide innovative, clean and energy-efficient solutions for a better tomorrow”, Delta integrates ESG developments into its business operations. Besides improving the energy efficiency of products, promoting energy-saving solutions and green buildings, Delta is actively setting long-term strategies and targets to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 at its global sites. The long-term strategy and goals of achieving net zero emissions (Net Zero) at global bases have accomplished a 13.5% decrease in 2022. At present, the proportion of renewable electricity used by Delta’ global bases has reached 63%, and the internal carbon pricing (ICP) mechanism has been introduced, with 300 US dollars per ton, and the carbon fee collected is also invested into multiple carbon reduction projects. This year, ESG became one of the key points of brand valuation. The judges gave high praise to Delta’ long-term ESG efforts. And at the upcoming 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28), we will also exchange experiences with the global community and collaborate to achieve decarbonization.

Representatives from large, medium-sized, and small enterprises attended the forum and responded positively.

In addition, Ms. Shan-shan Guo also shared in a media interview that the market is highly competitive and customer needs change rapidly. It is necessary to establish an authentic and unique brand story, have insight into the market, uphold to the philosophy, and innovate constantly. Only then can they stand out among many brands, continuously enhance brand value, and establish a unique brand impression in the hearts of customers.
