Environmental Conservation: Restoring and Protecting Natural Ecosystems
Environmental protection remains a cornerstone of Delta’s sustainability journey, with employees across continents actively contributing to ecosystem restoration and conservation. In the Americas, Delta Fremont employees marked Earth Day through direct environmental action. In 2024, volunteers joined over 300 participants in a coastal cleanup to preserve the Pacific shoreline. The following year, the team returned to support habitat restoration by removing invasive plant species. These external efforts were complemented by internal initiatives, including recycling training and upgraded waste stations, reinforcing sustainable practices within the workplace.

Similarly, Delta’s operations in China promoted environmental awareness through creative engagement. Parent-child graffiti activities centered on sustainability themes encouraged families to visualize a greener future together, fostering environmental values across generations.

In EMEA, reforestation efforts in Germany have led to the planting of 3,000 trees through a long-term partnership with PLANT-MY-TREE®, supporting biodiversity and restoring native woodland landscapes. Meanwhile, teams in Germany and the Netherlands participated in 2025 World Cleanup Day, collecting 21 large bags of waste in just two hours - an immediate and measurable contribution to cleaner local environments. In the Netherlands, workshops such as “Ecosystem in a Jar” and “Building Bee Hotels for Biodiversity” further deepened awareness of ecological balance and the importance of pollinators.

Social Responsibility and Public Welfare: Supporting Communities with Care
Beyond environmental initiatives, Delta continues to strengthen its role as a socially responsible organization through diverse public welfare programs. In Taiwan, employees supported vulnerable communities through a range of meaningful initiatives. Collaborating with the Taoyuan Community College Association, Delta organized care programs for children from special-needs families, helping build confidence and social skills. Employees also guided children in hands-on activities at a sheltered workshop, where they learned organic farming and prepared vegetables for donation to a residential care home. Additional efforts included the “Dream Fulfillment Program,” which provided essential goods to those in need, as well as blood donation drives across the island, demonstrating compassion through direct action.

Across EMEA, a Charity Fitness Challenge combined personal well-being with social impact. Employees collectively walked and ran 7,575 kilometers, translating their activity into donations that provided 379 stationery packs for students in Ghana. In China, employees supported handcrafted products made by people with disabilities and participated in donation programs that brought hope to children, reinforcing inclusivity and shared responsibility.

Education and Awareness: Inspiring Sustainable Mindsets
Education plays a vital role in shaping long-term sustainability, and Delta actively invests in raising awareness among both employees and communities. In India, a CSR initiative at Hebbagodi Government School in Bangalore engaged approximately 340 students through interactive sessions on environmental topics such as pollution, water conservation, and renewable energy. Activities were tailored by grade level and included a creative painting competition, allowing students to express their vision for a sustainable future. Through the “Box of Happiness” initiative, each student received a sapling to nurture at home, turning learning into lasting action.

In Southeast Asia and Singapore, Delta has also expanded its focus on health and well-being as part of sustainability. Looking back to 2025, cancer awareness campaigns in Singapore aimed to promote early detection and healthy lifestyles, demonstrating how sustainability extends beyond the environment to include human health and quality of life.
Looking Ahead: From Local Action to Global Impact
Delta’s sustainability journey illustrates how local initiatives, when guided by shared values, can create meaningful global impact. Whether restoring ecosystems, supporting communities, or educating future generations, employees across regions are turning sustainability into action - one initiative at a time. As Delta continues to move forward, the focus remains clear: empowering people, strengthening partnerships, and integrating sustainability into every aspect of operations. Together, these efforts not only address today’s challenges but also build a more resilient and sustainable future for generations to come.
