FUSION 1600: revolution of gaming PCs
In response to the growing demand from gamers for more immersive gaming experiences, the requirements for power and stability in gaming PCs continue to rise. Delta recently teamed up with world-leading industrial flash storage brand ADATA to introduce FUSION 1600, a GaN-integrated gaming power supply. It features a maximum 1,600W power output, compact form factor, and up to 94% energy conversion efficiency, fulfilling demand of gaming players.
Delta and ADATA's gaming branch XPG launch titanium-grade FUSION 1600 PSU.

Compared to silicon (Si) components, GaN enables higher power density and greater efficiency, making it suitable for operations with higher frequencies. This Fusion 1600W model adopts GaN in both PFC and LLC to simplify the module structure and reduce magnetic component sizes, which can further raise the energy conversion efficiency. Also, it is a fully digital power supply, which allows gamers to monitor status or adjust power parameters through the XPG PRIME software that is jointly developed by Delta and ADATA. The user interface (GUI) on the software allows gamers to adjust single or multiple +12V switches and fan curves, as well as monitor real-time power consumption.

Now, Delta is already preparing to lay the groundwork for the next generation of 1600W power supply. The aim is not only to increase power density but also to further reduce the volume, while continuously providing gamers with robust support for their PC and creating even more immersive gaming experiences.

Delta’s outdoor LED display PSUs - unpredictable weather defender
In addition to gaming computer, outdoor LED displays also requires highly efficient and stable power supplies. As LED technology matures, outdoor billboards are transitioning from traditionally monotonous and static printed images to vivid and lively digital LED displays, which are more visually striking and environmentally friendly. However, installing LED outdoor displays, especially ones adopting high-end LED technologies, requires substantial costs. One of the keys for these displays to maintain stability under changeable weather is the power supplies that features high protections.

High protection and 700,000 hours constant operation
Delta’s latest products incorporate specialized PIN designs and magnetic components as well as conformal coating on circuit boards. Coupling with -40°C cold start, the power supplies operate stably under humidity and high-salinity environments. In addition, they feature upgraded industrial surge protection to prevent lightning strikes or other activities that cause excessively high-voltage peaks.
Delta’s latest power supplies feature conformal coating on circuit boards and specialized PIN designs and magnetic components to ensure stable operation under harsh environments.

Other designs for the persistent performance of the power supplies include HICCUP short circuit protection. Generally, LED outdoor displays feature high brightness, meaning the modules inside require large currents and might cause an overload. The HICCUP function will automatically shut down electricity supplies and resume operation after conducting troubleshooting. It is also in compliance with OVP (overvoltage protection), OTP (overtemperature protection), and others to ensure uninterrupted operation for an industry-leading 700,000 hours.

It is important for advertisers to reduce extra power loss for outdoor LED displays under 24/7, energy-consuming operation. To achieve this, the circuit topology of Delta’s latest power supplies is redesigned by adopting active PFC and LLC resonant converters. This not only enhances the power factor to 0.95 but also elevates the efficiency to 90%, cutting energy waste during power distribution and conversion processes. The new generation is also slimmer and lighter than the previous one by lowering quantities of IC components used and fanless cooling designs, saving installation space. Looking ahead, Delta will closely follow the market trend and keep developing power supplies with higher energy conservation, efficiency, and stability.
