Delta participates at the 2023 China International Industry Fair (CIIF) held in Shanghai to exhibit its Delta Zero Carbon Factory showcase. The demonstration includes Delta’s Zero Carbon Factory solutions, which include smart green manufacturing, smart health offices, and factory energy microgrid. As Delta's Wujiang Factory in Suzhou, China recently received the Five-Star Zero Carbon Factory certification, the solutions applied in the factory such as low-carbon manufacturing, smart lighting, energy and carbon management platforms, new energy and energy storage system will also be presented. Delta will also announce a new brand value proposition— “Realizing an Intelligent, Sustainable, and Connecting World” —, which illustrates Delta's endeavors to enable smart sustainable cities through its IoT-based Smart Green Solutions and world-class ESG-embedded business model and global operations.

Delta’s CEO, Mr. Ping Cheng, said, “Delta continue to expand its manufacturing, R&D, and operation sites across the world. In line with the net-zero energy consumption goal, Delta has established five focus areas, including e-mobility, industrial automation, building automation, information and communications, and energy infrastructure, to deliver higher productivity with lower energy consumption and CO2e to its customers. To align with the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals, Delta joined the global corporate renewable energy initiative RE100 in 2021 promising that our global electricity consumption will derive from renewable sources, while also attaining carbon neutrality by 2030, and net-zero emissions by 2050. By the end of 2022, 63% of Delta’s electricity consumption derives from renewable sources as we strive for a sustainable future.”

Delta’s CEO, Mr. Ping Cheng, General Manager of DGC, Mr. Tan Yi-Zhong, General Manager of DGC's IABU, Mr. Chen Minren, met with key customers for in-depth discussions on market and industry matters.

At the launch of the new brand value proposition ‘Realizing an Intelligent, Sustainable, and Connecting World, Ms. Shan-Shan Guo, Delta’s Chief Brand Officer, said, “Delta has successfully transformed from a components supplier into a provider of total solutions, and has broaden from an industrial brand to a commercial brand to meet our customer needs. At 2023 CIIF we are sharing Delta's experience of the Five-Star Zero Carbon Factory as the main design theme, presenting solutions such as green manufacturing, building automation, and energy infrastructure based on the IoT, to ultimately echo Delta's new brand value proposition.”

The demonstration includes Delta’s Zero Carbon Factory solutions, which include smart green manufacturing, smart health offices, and factory energy microgrid.

Delta’s Chief Sustainability Officer and Spokesperson, Mr. Jesse Chou, said, “Delta pays close attention to global climate change and carbon reduction trends. In 2021, it has achieved the 2025 Science Based Targets (SBT) of carbon intensity reduction by 56.6% and has formulated a long-term strategy and goal for net zero in 2050 worldwide, committing to reducing scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions by 90% by 2030, and reducing the carbon emissions by 13.5% in 2022 compared with 2021. Delta has implemented an internal carbon pricing system and invested carbon fee funds in various carbon reduction projects to drive low-carbon innovation. In 2022, major factories around the world have implemented 309 energy-saving and carbon-reduction projects, established 25.45million kWh of solar power plants, and purchased 88.31 million kWh of green electricity, taking steps towards carbon neutrality.

Tan Yi-Zhong, General Manager of Delta GreenTech China (DGC), said, "The concept of carbon neutrality has promoted the transformation of corporations towards digitalization and low carbonization where the energy consumption and intensity dual control system has gradually shifted to the carbon emission dual control system. We should actively develop and use clean energy to further reduce carbon emission intensity. It takes four steps to achieve a Zero Carbon Factory: carbon measurement, emissions reduction, carbon offset, and zero-carbon certification. Delta's Wujiang Factory in Suzhou, which received the Five-Star Zero Carbon Factory certification, was verified with the corporate and product carbon footprint. With Delta's 3D zero-carbon digital management platform, solar energy storage and charging solutions, and green factory management system with smart production, energy-saving equipment and low-carbon office, Delta refines the management, smart energy-saving operation and maintenance of its factories. Delta will replicate its Zero Carbon Factory experience and work with partners to promote green and low-carbon transformation, promoting sustainability into the exceptional industry development.”
