Delta is demonstrating its Smart EV Charging Station for Sustainable Cities at 2035 E-Mobility Taiwan. Delta’s Chief Brand Officer, Shan Shan Guo; Chief Sustainability Officer, Jesse Chou; Deputy General Manager of EISBG, Kelly Shyu; and Director of EVSBG, CY Lin; all in attendance.
Delta Smart EV Charging Station moves towards low-carbon transportation with innovative energy-saving solutions
This year, Delta took the "Smart EV Charging Station" as the blueprint, combined with Delta's new brand identity elements, to create application scenarios for smart mobile life. It also launched an eye-catching car body model on the spot to present Delta's electric vehicle power, on-board power system, and car fans. Additionally, Delta integrated renewable energy power generation and energy storage systems with charging piles to create a micro-grid charging infrastructure. This is the first time that Delta has integrated electric four-wheel and two-wheel key components and power systems, fully presenting Delta's latest technologies and applications in various smart transportation vehicles, and allowing visitors to experience and interact with it close up. At the same time, from the generation, storage, saving, and use of electricity, Delta creates an electric vehicle charging infrastructure solution that conforms to the concept of a micro-grid, and moves towards a sustainable smart city.
Delta's "Smart EV Charging Station" has a dedicated guide every day, and a total of 12 sessions are held. The guides give in-depth explanations and introduce innovative and energy-saving products and solutions, attracting many visitors. The total number of visitors was nearly 3,000, including the simultaneous online exhibition.
Delta’s press conference attracted more than 100 medias and professionals to participate
The vehicle electronics area, EV charging area & green energy area and E-life area fully reflect the "Smart Charging Station"
Delta has developed key components and power systems of electric vehicles by virtue of its own core technology of power electronics. In the "EV charging zone," the actual car body proportions present the electric vehicle power system and power management system, vehicle fan and heat dissipation management, vehicle passive components and key components, which demonstrate the strength of Tier1 suppliers of international car manufacturers, including: traction motor, traction inverter, Integrated DC power module, combo on-board charger, and battery junction box. In the field of efficient and lightweight fan and heat management solutions that meet the requirements of vehicles, the applications include automotive Battery Management Systems (BMS), autonomous driving (AD), advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), LED headlights and lighting, intelligent cockpits, and automotive HVAC & Climate Seats, etc. These applications cover the main systems of the vehicle.
The life-scale model car makes it easier for visitors to understand Delta's vehicle power system, energy conversion system, and multiple cooling solutions
Charging solutions for electric vehicles play a crucial role in promoting their widespread adoption. The 'EV Charging Zone' includes a range of charging products, including the compact 17.6kW AC MAX AC charging pile for home use, the DC Wallbox 50kW for fast charging stations, and the DC 350kW DC charging pile. In addition, the DeltaGrid® EVM charging management system was launched in the "Green Energy Zone," which can adjust energy according to different power needs, and improve charging services and energy efficiency.
Through application scenarios, we showcase electric vehicle charging solutions that incorporate the concept of a microgrid. We also exhibit a full range of residential AC chargers, commercial ultra-thin 50kW DC charging piles, as well as the latest 350kW ultra-fast charging equipment.
The exhibition highlights also include the debut of solutions for electric two-wheeled vehicles, such as electric motorcycles and electric bicycles. In the 'e-mobility zone,' we demonstrate the application of motors and power modules in physical vehicles, showcasing features such as mid-drive motors in e-bikes and highly integrated powertrain systems. These advancements successfully expand the application of related technologies to electric multi-functional vehicles, golf carts, and three-wheeled mobility vehicles in various fields.
