Please look forward to it.
Delta has been promoting ESG for a long time, and has become a benchmark for both domestic and foreign companies. Delta China has been recognized for its carbon reduction achievements through its own carbon reduction, energy transformation, and production efficiency improvement strategies. In addition, its proportion of renewable electricity used exceeded 90%, earning Delta the honor of “China’s Top Runner for Industrial Carbon Peaking”. In our “Sustainability” column, we delve deeper into China to analyze how Delta has aligned itself with international ESG standards, while focusing on its localized carbon reduction advantages in order to embrace sustainable development.
To realize energy saving, the ability of enterprises to grasp data and integrate equipment is even more important. This issue of “Special Report” introduces Delta’s SCADA system, VTScada, which has successfully helped South African metallurgical factories and clean rooms in China to improve operational efficiency and promote the stable development of the industry. From the factory to the community, Delta continues to promote low-carbon transformation. We have cooperated with the Thai government and enterprises in the “Smart Farm” project, which utilizes solutions such as industrial automation VTScada and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to train local farmers in agricultural science and technology, and has won a Thai energy award; in China, through 15 Vivitek laser projectors, combined with live performance and holographic theater stage, the world of King Zhuang of Chu was recreated in a perfect fusion of the virtual and the real. We invite you to enjoy the wonderful reports in this issue of “Brand Circle”.
Do you eat meat at every meal? Did you know that cutting down on meat for one meal will help the planet reduce carbon emissions? According to a study, the carbon emissions from large meat eaters are two to five times higher than those from small meat eaters. A meat eater who switches to a less-meat diet for just one meal can reduce carbon by more than 5 kilograms, which is equivalent to reducing the carbon emissions of 30 cars on the road by one kilometer. Don’t miss out on the interesting new dietary information at “Delta Green Life”.
