Delta's dot-line-plane solutions for smart factory
As the COVID-19 pandemic drives the acceleration of automation and intelligentization in the manufacturing industry, Delta's Industrial
Automation Business Group (IABG) implement smart production lines with the "dots" of smart automation products and shape the
"plane" of smart factories thereafter. Delta featured four themed exhibition areas - Smart Factory Solutions, Smart Machine Building and Integration, Process Automation, and Smart Automation Products and Application Packs - at the Taipei International Industrial Automation Exhibition 2021 with the theme titled "Digitized Automation for a Changing World." Additionally, Delta also debuted a variety of exhibits, such as the Flexible Robotic Pallet Packaging Workstation and the Time-of-Flight (ToF) 3D Vision Robotic Glue Dispensing Workstation, in this event.

In this year's exhibition, Delta presented the Smart Manufacturing Solutions for the Electronics Industry, which integrate its very own smart equipment and design for automation with the DIAAuto Automation Integration Platform, DIAWorks Manufacturing Management Platform, monitoring and control center, and smart factory monitoring system. In the Smart Machine Building and Integration area, Delta showcased the DIAStudio Smart Machine Suite based on the concept that software adds value to hardware, with a view to accelerating the upgrading of smart production lines. In the Process Automation area, Delta exhibited energy-saving solutions for water chillers and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), as well as the highly reputable VTScada SCADA System, thereby helping to achieve the goal of green and smart manufacturing in large-scale and high-end applications or factory automation.
"A healthy life with good disease prevention at home" via Delta's fresh air solutions
With the COVID-19 good ventilation plays a critical role in disease prevention. Based on the theme titled "A Healthy Life with Good Disease Prevention at Home," Delta showcased a full range of indoor air quality solutions, including energy-saving ventilation fans, bathroom
heater fans, and remote control ceiling fans, at the 2021 Taipei Building Show, with the aim of assisting customers in planning flexibly to meet the needs of different room sizes via these solutions, thereby ensuring a healthy life with good disease prevention at home.

Delta's wall mount-type energy recovery ventilator for whole-house fresh air can be installed quickly and used with only fresh air vents, thereby effectively addressing air quality problems in room sizes below 65 square meters. Moreover, Delta's high-end ceiling mount-type energy recovery ventilator enables the selection of different airflows according to room size as it reduces the energy consumption of air-conditioners using energy recovery technology. For Delta's economical whole-house ventilation solution, a "one in, one out" balanced ventilation can be achieved using a fresh air fan in combination with ventilation equipment (e.g., heater fan or negative pressure duct fan), which intakes clean fresh air and exhausts stale air indoors, thereby reducing the concentration of carbon dioxide and increasing oxygen content indoors. At the same time, it can also be applied along with RS485 communication technology and Delta's UNOnext indoor air quality monitor to realize the connection of smart home devices, provision of real-time data, and air purification.
