Since the outbreak of the COVID-19, the country has been working hard to fight the disease together. Delta, a global supplier of power management and cooling solutions, in the midst of actively resuming production, upholds the spirit of caring for the society by fulfilling its social responsibilities. It donated 71 sets of total heat exchangers to more than ten hospitals in Guangdong Province, including those in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, etc., for improving indoor air quality. Total heat exchangers use energy-efficient core technologies of DC motor, which will filter and add oxygen to improve the quality of entering air through purification efficiency as high as 98%. It simultaneously conserves energy and maintains healthy indoor air quality, which is dedicated to safeguarding the health of the frontline medical personnel.
General Manager of Fan and Thermal Management Products Business Group (FMBG), Wilson Huang said, Delta helps to fight against the pandemic and safeguard the health of medical care personnel. The energy-efficient DC motor can continuously operate throughout the year, catering to the need of regulating indoor temperature and humidity all year round, and reducing the load of air-conditioning engine operation. Its inverter technologies can conserve energy and electricity, saving up to 41% of electricity bill in summer when operating with air-conditioning.
In addition, the fresh air system filters outdoor air which could have been contaminated. It filters large particles of dust and filth and hair, effectively blocking particles such as PM2.5, pollens, dust, and dust mites, achieving purification efficiency greater than 98%. By eliminating factors that potentially threaten people’s health in indoor environment, the product effectively improves air quality in the hospital, providing fresh air for people in the hospital, and supporting and caring for the hardworking medical personnel who take care of the patients.
