Delta Controls O3 Sensor 2.0, which combines seven different sensors, won the 2020 AHR (American Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning) Building Automation Innovation Award for its ability to provide the most accurate in-building sensing information.

O3 Sensor 2.0 is IoT capable and can be used as a standalone room controller, integrating temperature sensing, occupancy detection, humidity and wireless. This innovation uses Sensor Fusion to enhance room control, enhance user experience and reduce user detection errors.

Mounted on the ceiling, the O3 can optimize its functions from the best angle in the room, accurately detecting usage by simply reading body heat, keyboard noise or other movements. Additionally, it can quickly detect when a user leaves the room, saving valuable facility management costs.

Compared with the previous generation O3 sensor, version 2.0 has the feature of independent operation, and can achieve the detection function without the O3-DIN zone controller. In terms of configuration, cloud configuration can be used, and enteliWEB software is not required. At the same time, new supported communication protocols (MQTT, BLE, RESTful API and BACnet) are added, allowing detection information to be obtained in different ways.
Delta Controls will exhibit O3 Sensor 2.0 at AHR 2020, hoping to change the industry's definition of user satisfaction through the innovation of this product.
