Visitors show great interest in Delta’s Electric Servo Press and 3D Machine Vision & Multi-point Robotic Soldering Solutions

Delta’s IABG has cooperated with Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) and various vendors to set up the CYCU R&D Center for Smart Manufacturing. Delta adopted its own smart factory construction experience to implement the monitoring system, industrial robots, and other IA products on the smart production demo line on the first floor of the new center.

On the automated production line at the first floor of the center, Delta’s DIAMMP provides efficient management and monitoring of production equipment. The Delta Articulated Robot DRV60L performs pick-and-place tasks for the electric discharge machine (EDM). At the inauguration ceremony, CYCU demonstrated the Delta Electric Servo Press performing the precision bearing pressing process as an advanced automation application. The 3D Machine Vision & Multi-point Robotic Soldering Solution adopted machine vision algorithms for multi-point soldering inspection. It replaces the traditional labor-intensive soldering process, which attracted the attention of many visitors. CYCU is planning further collaboration to enhance its smart production line efficiency
