Delta named as Top 20 Global Brands in Taiwan for the 8th consecutive year

Delta is selected as one of the top 20 international brands from Taiwan for the 8th consecutive year in “2018 Taiwan Global Brand Value Survey”, and its brand value continues to grow for the sixth year, with a growth rate highest among large industrial brands. During the coming COP24 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Poland Katowice, Delta will be inviting world-renowned opinion leaders and think tanks in organizing official side events, participating in Sustainable Innovation Forum (SIF), and exchanging views with opinion leaders from all over the world on establishing sustainability through innovative technologies.

Chief Brand Officer Ms. Shan-Shan Guo represented Delta in receiving the award and emphasized, “As the world faces climate change, Delta, as a power electronics and energy management solution provider, will continue to invest in product R&D and technological innovation, in order to establish sustainable low-carbon cities. This is Delta’s brand commitment, as well as a practice of corporate social responsibility. In this year’s COP24, Delta Electronics Foundation will be organizing official side events in United Nations negotiating area, and lead topic discussions for the first time. Delta will be inviting world-class opinion leaders and think tanks, including C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group, U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE), Japan’s Renewable Energy Institute (REI), etc. to exchange views on speeding up energy transformation and improving resilience.” 

According to Victor Cheng, VP and GM of Delta’s Power System Business Group, who will be representing Delta in the Sustainable Innovation Forum, “Technological innovation is the cornerstone for Delta’s brand growth, as well as an important factor in limiting global warming within 1.5 degree Celsius. For building sector which has high energy consumption, we provide energy-efficient building automation solutions, and for transportation which has a high potential for carbon reduction, Delta provides key components such as electric vehicle’s drive motor, and builds charging infrastructure in various parts of the world for customers to boost popularity of electric vehicle. In line with the trend of decentralized energy, Delta also provides solutions such as storage, V2G/V2H charging, etc., assisting cities in achieving low-carbon transformation.”
