Delta is set to impress global visitors once again at Hannover Messe 2018 from April 23rd ~ 27th with a whole new Smart Production Line demo, which combines three robot workstations, a smart conveyer, the cloud, and IIoT technology to perform as a true-to-life, flexible, multi-tasking production line that manufactures customized products on-site, as well as allowing real-time monitoring of equipment operation and progress.

The smart production line triggers the production process by sending fixtures for work pieces via smart conveyer to whichever articulated robot can soon begin 
manufacturing. The articulated robot then picks up the selected gift and its packaging box, and puts them on the fixture for laser engraving at the next station. The SCARA robot, built in the middle of the smart production line, covers the box to complete the packaging process after laser engraving, and the articulated robots will deliver the finished gift to the customer directly or put it in storage for picking up later. The whole process ends when customers scan their order identification QR codes with Delta’s new Barcode Scanner DAH Series, and then receive their personalized gift from the articulated robot on the right.

This smart production line combines customer orders, production lines, and a monitoring system, and will be a perfect simulation and demonstration of highly efficient, fully automated and digitalized production at this year’s Hannover Messe!
