Delta has announced a key milestone in its goal to foster e-mobility. Its compact 100 kW DC EV charger, the Slim 100, is now available in an Eichrecht-certified version that complies with Germany’s calibration law. This certification ensures transparent, tamper-proof energy billing, enabling operators to meet regulatory requirements while building user trust.
Rakesh Mukhija, Head of Energy Infrastructure Platform EMEA at Delta, said that laws and industry standards are designed to protect customers and operators. He added that Delta supports the accurate, transparent, and safe delivery of energy by developing premium-quality EV charging solutions that comply with industry standards. According to Mukhija, securing Eichrecht certification reflects the strength of Delta’s engineering capabilities and its commitment to delivering compliant solutions that help partners build trusted EV charging infrastructure across Germany and beyond.

Delta's Slim 100 EV charger achieves German Eichrecht certification, ensuring transparent billing for diverse charging applications.
To sell energy to consumers under German calibration law, operators must use EV charging stations certified as calibrated energy metering systems. This latest certification is particularly important for charge point operators (CPOs) and commercial operators in Germany and Austria, where Eichrecht compliance is legally required for public EV charging infrastructure. As one of the strictest calibration laws in the world, Germany’s Eichrecht provides compliance assurance for CPOs, fleet operators, public transport infrastructure planners, municipal procurement bodies, and other industry stakeholders in countries that recognize the German calibration law.
By leveraging Delta’s Eichrecht-certified EV chargers, partners can accelerate deployments, reduce compliance risks, and prepare for evolving regulatory requirements across Europe. With the Slim 100 now joining the already certified DC Wallbox 50 kW and UFC 500, Delta’s full DC charging portfolio is available for commercial deployment across public charging sites, corporate fleets, and city-edge depots in the German EV charging market.
All three of Delta’s Eichrecht-certified DC chargers utilize the same technology platform and are fully configurable. Customers can tailor product features to meet the requirements of each charging installation. In addition, the charger’s appearance can be customized to align with customers’ corporate branding and design requirements.
Delta is one of the few manufacturers whose DC EV charging solutions comply with German calibration law. As similar regulatory frameworks emerge in other markets, Delta is well positioned to provide compliant solutions across different charging scenarios and power classes. This helps give operators and EV drivers greater confidence in the reliability and transparency of charging infrastructure.
