Delta demonstrates new EC fan cooling solutions at MCE 2026
Text by EMEA 2026/06

At MCE 2026, held at Fiera Milano, Italy, Delta presented its latest EC axial fan and centrifugal blower offerings. Its EC fans enable data center manufacturers to optimize their thermal management and reduce energy consumption while maintaining the highest standards of operational continuity. Compliant with the latest European eco-design rules (ErP 2026), the EC fans further optimize energy efficiency and improve sustainability. Their compliance enables data centers to deploy Delta’s EC fan solutions to underpin the highly efficient architecture required to support the demands placed upon them by energy-hungry technologies like AI and quantum computing.

Commenting on its presence at MCE 2026, Chang Hao Hsieh, Delta Fans and Thermal Management EMEA Director, stated: “As the global demand for cooling scales alongside the rapid expansion of AI and related infrastructure, the industry can no longer afford the 'energy tax' of inefficient systems. At Delta, we aren't just manufacturing fans; we are focusing on engineering solutions needed to solve the thermal challenges that make a Net-Zero future a reality. Our EC fans and motor technology represent the pinnacle of high-power density. They deliver the high air performance with excellent efficiency and intelligent control required to keep the world’s most critical infrastructure running cooler, smarter, and significantly more sustainable.”

A key component of modern cooling infrastructures, Delta’s 2026 portfolio of EC products is suited to industries including HVAC manufacturers, data center and renewable energies, and for applications ranging from chillers to cooling towers, condensers, AHU, heat pumps, fan walls, In-row cooling and precision cooling. The efficiency of Delta’s blowers can be as high as 74%, and they also can deliver high airflow with low noise levels, high reliability and intelligent speed control across the entire ecosystem. Delta’s flexibility enables customization in line with customers’ specific needs.

Visitors to Delta’s booth at MCE 2026 experienced its EC fan solutions, including EC Blowers up to 6kW, particularly suitable for data center applications, able to operate with less than 5% Total Harmonic Distortion (THDi). Delta’s motors can also include a vibration sensor that facilitates real-time tracking of the vibration level and enables predictive maintenance, minimizing downtime for customers. Delta also showcased EC axial fans up to 4kW that help reduce operating costs through low power consumption and optimal energy efficiency. Optional features and accessories, such as diffusers that enhance air performance while reducing noise and corrosion protection up to C5 level, help ensure safe operation even in extreme environments.Delta demonstrates new EC fan cooling solutions at MCE 2026.
