The era of universal charging — Delta leads with USB-C fast charging outlets
To reduce electronic waste and enhance user convenience, the European Union is promoting a unified USB-C charging standard for portable devices, which will apply to smartphones starting in 2024 and expand to laptops in 2026—impacting industries worldwide. Delta has actively responded by developing USB Power Delivery (PD) fast charging outlets that comply with the new standards. These outlets are already available in Taiwan and Japan, with ongoing efforts to expand partnerships in Europe and North America.

Leading the trend: dual-port USB-C 100W fast charging outlet
In response to the global shift toward USB-C standardization, Delta has launched a dual-port USB-C 100W fast charging outlet. It supports major fast charging protocols such as PD 3.2, QC 4.0+, and more, making it compatible with a wide range of devices including smartphones, laptops, tablets, wearables, and gaming consoles.

The outlet features smart power distribution and automatic power detection, enabling efficient and stable charging for multiple devices simultaneously. Built with enhanced durability, it can withstand up to 30,000 plug-ins and has passed multiple international safety certifications. It also includes multiple protection mechanisms to ensure safe operation.

With 92.5% energy efficiency and standby power consumption under 0.15W, it significantly outperforms typical household appliances. This high-performance, durable, and eco-friendly solution helps improve overall energy efficiency as demand for advanced outlets continues to grow. The USB-C 100W charging socket integrates automatic power detection, intelligent power distribution, and self-power re-allocation technology to deliver a convenient plug-and-play experience.

To promote its innovative USB-C charging outlet solutions and allow the public to experience the convenience of fast charging firsthand, Delta held a USB-C fast charging outlet demo event at Taichung High-Speed Rail Station from May 29 to June 30. The event featured 20W and 60W charging stations, where users could quickly charge everyday devices such as laptops, tablets, and smartphones with just a single charging cable.

The USB-C outlet offers high installation flexibility, making it suitable for homes, offices, and public spaces. With a variety of panel color options, it can seamlessly integrate into different interior designs and meet personalized style preferences.Delta held a USB-C fast-charging socket experience event at Taichung High-Speed Rail Station (left); the USB-C socket can be widely applied in homes, offices, and various other settings, offering a variety of panel color designs (right).

Future vision: meeting diverse charging needs
As market demand continues to grow, Delta is actively driving innovation in charging technologies. Moving forward, the company will focus on two key areas: increasing the power capacity of USB-C PD charging to support a wider range of devices, and advancing wireless charging technology to deliver a more stable, efficient, and user-friendly charging experience.Delta 60W USB-A+C PD charging outlet with interchangeable panels.
