Hosted by China Newsweek, the 16th "Green Development, Low-Carbon Life" thematic forum centered on the theme "Embracing a Net-Zero Future." Nearly a hundred green pioneers from government, industry, academia, and research gathered to explore paths toward green development and a net-zero future.Experts gathered at the Deeptalk roundtable forum to focus on the future trends of AI sustainability and green industrial transformation.

Howard Kung, general manager of DGC was invited to join the Deeptalk Roundtable Forum, where he discussed “New Momentum, New Scenarios” from the perspectives of AI sustainability and green industrial transformation. During the event, the impactful report Embracing a Net-Zero Future: 2025 Youth Low-Carbon Practice Report was officially released. The report evaluates companies across six key dimensions—regulatory compliance, strategic planning, clean production, green operations, technological innovation, and environmental philanthropy—as well as their roadmap toward a net-zero future and engagement with younger generations.

Delta received high recognition from the organizers and was selected as one of the “2025 Low Carbon Case” models. As an active practitioner of green development, Delta leads by example, setting a company-wide target of achieving carbon neutrality and 100% renewable electricity usage by 2030. As of 2024, Delta has reduced greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1 and 2) across its global operations by 53.6% compared to the 2021 baseline, with renewable electricity usage rising to 84%.

In his keynote speech, China’s Special Envoy for Climate Change, Liu Zhenmin, emphasized that despite uncertainties in the multilateral process of addressing climate change, the global journey toward climate governance will continue, and the momentum of the global energy transition is irreversible. Countries around the world have high expectations for the ongoing global energy transition and China's leading role in it.

He stated that for China, the green transition is not only an internal engine for promoting high-quality development but also a key pathway to building new productive forces. It reflects the sense of responsibility of a major nation and serves as a vital practice in advancing the building of a shared future for mankind. The path toward a “net-zero future” is far more than simple energy-saving or structural shifts in energy sources—it is a profound transformation that reshapes our modes of production, lifestyles, and even ways of thinking.

Howard Kung furthur stated that with the rapid development of AI, there is a growing industrial demand for "sustainable AI" and increased reliance on resilient power grids and low-carbon data centers. Leveraging the R&D capabilities of its parent company, Delta Group, Delta Networks has introduced high-efficiency energy-saving solutions covering green factories, smart microgrids, AI data centers, and net-zero campuses.

Among these, the AI data center built on an 800V HVDC architecture achieves energy efficiency of up to 92% from grid to chip and is equipped with comprehensive air and liquid cooling technologies to effectively address high heat density challenges. In addition, the digital energy management system integrates AI algorithms with energy control technologies to optimize energy use and carbon emissions, enabling precise scheduling and enhanced system performance.Howard Kung, general manager of DGC, was invited to participate in the Deeptalk roundtable forum.
