Promoting green digital transformation: Delta's smart community solutions at Taipei Smart City Expo 2025
by BABG 2025/04

In recent years, Delta had achieved notable results in the fields of net-zero buildings and zero-carbon factories. In response to the broader demand for energy conservation and smart technology, the company expanded its technology to industrial parks and urban development. Recently, Delta presented its smart park solutions at the Taipei Smart City Expo 2025 under the theme "Smart Community, Green Prosperity" This included the highly integrated Delta iCMS Smart Park Management Platform, which encompasses applications such as energy management, surveillance, smart street lighting, and building control. The platform addressed the management challenges associated with multiple systems and platforms and was successfully implemented at Taichung Port, reducing nighttime inspection manpower by a whopping 90%. This exhibition also marked the first showcase for integrated EV charging, DC charger health management service platform, billing mechanisms, and the Vortex AI smart  surveillance cloud platform for charging parking meter. These were implemented in Tainan and Taoyuan to assist in promoting the green transformation of cities and parks.

Mr. Roland Chiang, Deputy BG head of Delta's Building Automation Business Group (BABG), stated: "The Delta Smart Park Management Platform had been successfully implemented in Taichung Port, Kaohsiung Port, and several semiconductor industry parks, utilizing big data to achieve collaborative operations among the subsystems of each park. In addition, Delta is actively expanding its ecosystem partner collaborations, gradually providing integrated operation and maintenance management for EV charging infrastructure in locations such as Tainan and Taoyuan. This initiative utilized the Smart Park Management Platform to assist in establishing green energy-friendly cities, creating digital, green, safe, and smart park and urban environments."

This exhibition not only focused on comprehensive smart park management and EV charging solutions, but also highlighted building management. Through the iBMS smart operations and maintenance platform, a 3D visualized BIM platform brings together systems including air conditioning, lighting, surveillance, and energy management for optimized building operation and maintenance, reducing management costs and energy consumption. Also showcased at the expo were smart lamp posts and urban lighting services, providing various convenient services such as smart lighting, traffic management, and disaster preparation information. Additionally, the Vortex AI Smart Security Cloud Platform facilitated comprehensive remote monitoring and management, allowing for a thorough understanding of safety conditions across multiple areas.Mr. Roland Chiang, (front row, right) Deputy BG head of BABG posed for a group photo with colleagues in front of the exhibition booth.Delta staff introduced the Smart Park Management Platform to visiting foreign guests.
