Delta Thailand recognized as ASEAN’s Top Corporate Brand 2024 for innovation and sustainability

Delta Thailand has been named ASEAN’s Top Corporate Brand of the Year for 2024. This accolade underscores Delta’s unwavering commitment to innovation, environmental sustainability, and corporate excellence. The recognition was announced at a ceremony hosted by Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, honoring the region’s most prominent listed companies.

Mr. Victor Cheng, CEO of Delta Thailand, said, “Being recognized as ASEAN’s Top Corporate Brand highlights the positive impact we’ve had in the region. Our sustainable data center solutions, which received the ASEAN Energy Award 2024, are improving energy efficiency and supporting ASEAN’s carbon reduction efforts. Additionally, our rapid growth in electric vehicle chargers and sustainable solutions in Indonesia, Thailand and the region is contributing to a greener future for ASEAN.”

Delta’s sustainability initiatives include an internal carbon pricing mechanism, which funds renewable energy projects such as solar rooftop installations, green logistics, and circular economy practices. These efforts have secured the company’s position in the FTSE4Good Index Series and the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI). Notably, Delta Electronics (Thailand) is the only Thai company in the "ITC Electronic Equipment, Instruments & Components" industry segment included in the 2024 DJSI and the DJSI World Index. To further strengthen its innovation capabilities, Delta opened a new state-of-the-art R&D plant in 2024, marking a key milestone in its journey to meet the rising demand for energy-efficient products and advanced technologies.

The award is grounded in the Corporate Brand Success Valuation (CBS Valuation) model. The CBS Valuation framework measures corporate brand value using financial data and has been internationally recognized, including receiving Thailand’s National Outstanding Research Award in 2015. The award ceremony brought together business leaders and executives from across ASEAN to celebrate the importance of corporate brand equity in fostering long-term success and regional competitiveness. Delta’s recognition highlights its role as a standard-bearer for sustainable practices and forward-thinking solutions in the region.
