Delta Electronics was honored with the 2024 RE100 Leadership Awards' "RE100 Market Trailblazer" award, making it the first Taiwanese company to receive this distinction. The award was presented at Climate Week NYC 2024.

Since 2020, RE100 has announced the RE100 Leadership Awards annually during Climate Week NYC. These awards recognize member companies that have excelled in advancing renewable energy and inspiring other companies in the industry. The RE100 Market Trailblazer Award honors companies that lead the way in renewable energy transformation, particularly in emerging markets where they demonstrate leadership through innovation and impact.

To support renewable electricity development, Delta has signed Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) across various renewable sources such as wind, solar, and hydro, contributing to a more diverse renewable electricity market. In Thailand, Delta has proactively engaged with government entities and stakeholders to accelerate the development of local regulations and renewable electricity trading systems. Delta’s collaborations to overcome market limitations and lead transformative change have earned high praise from an international independent panel of judges.

Delta operates in over 35 countries and, guided by the global 1.5°C pathway, integrates RE100 into its strategic roadmap to achieve its 2050 SBT Net-Zero goals. RE100 plays a key role in achieving Scope 2 carbon reduction targets, and in 2023, Delta has reached RE76 globally. Building on its energy-saving initiatives and supported by an internal carbon fee, Delta has developed strategies for RE100 implementation. These strategies not only contribute to government policy formulation but also drive renewable energy market growth toward the 2050 Net-Zero target.
