On January 18, the closing and recognition ceremony for the Charitable Public Welfare Joint Donation was held in Pudong New Area, Shanghai. Delta Group - Delta GreenTech China was honored with the 2022-2023 Public Welfare Charity Exemplar Award in the corporate category. With over 20 years of dedicated work in the field of public welfare, DGC has actively fulfilled its corporate social responsibility through supporting education, technology, environmental protection, and rural development. After a rigorous six-month process of initial evaluation, re-evaluation, online voting, and final evaluation, DGC emerged as the winner among more than 100 participating companies, organizations, and projects, earning this prestigious honor.
DGC stood out among more than a hundred companies, organizations, and projects, becoming one of the ten companies to receive the Exemplary Corporate Philanthropy Award. Eason Chen, Director of the DGC Public Welfare Department, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
The Pudong New Area Public Welfare and Charity Exemplar award aims to recognize businesses, organizations, and projects that have made outstanding contributions to the field of public welfare and charity. It encourages and mobilizes more social forces to participate in charitable endeavors. Only 10 companies were awarded the Corporate Philanthropy Exemplar Award this year, and DGC stood out as one of the recipients, This recognition highlights our active fulfillment of corporate social responsibility and dedication to public welfare from various sectors of society.

Since 2000, Delta has been providing financial support to 13 universities, including Shanghai University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, for innovative research in power electronics. Beginning in 2011, the company has extended its support to eight universities, including Shanghai Jiao Tong University, for the development of environmental and energy law disciplines. Since 2013, company employees as volunteers have been conducting environmental education programs for 27,500 students, including those at Pudong Youth Community Center and Caolu Gonglu Central Elementary School. In addition, Delta has been actively involved in several charitable initiatives. This includes supporting the project, Hope for Pearl, which provides financial assistance to 1,110 high-achieving high school students facing economic challenges. The company has also been a consistent sponsor of the Delta Cup International Solar Building Design Competition for 11 editions, translating green building concepts into actionable solutions. In response to earthquakes in Sichuan, Ya’an, and Ludian, Delta made a combined donation of 25 million RMB and contributed expertise and proposals from competition-winning designs to aid in the reconstruction of damaged school buildings. Furthermore, Delta actively participates in charitable projects initiated by organizations such as the Red Cross and the Shanghai Charity Foundation, assisting vulnerable groups in the local region.
