Delta takes sustainable development as the core concept of corporate development, and has shown excellent performance in various aspects. It also actively invests in building an employer brand, providing employees with a safe, comfortable, and developmental work environment, cultivating employees’ professional skills and personal abilities, and caring for employees’ physical and mental health and quality of life. Therefore, Delta won the “2023 Enterprise ESG Outstanding Employer Brand Construction Case” award from Xinhua News Agency at the “2023 Enterprise ESG Development Forum” held in Harbin in September, and shared Delta’s employer brand management experience.

Mr. Randy Liao, Chief Human Resource Officer of Delta China, shared that Delta attaches great importance to human resource development and employer brand building in the process of transformation and upgrading. Driven by the core value of the employer brand “Keep Exploring”, Delta focuses on employees’ career development and self-improvement channels, regularly promotes general and professional training, and empowers employees’ professional skills and personal abilities. In terms of employee care, Delta implements humanized management, strives to provide employees with a safe and convenient work environment, and cares for employees, providing employees with a comfortable living environment, equipped with libraries, rest areas, and free fitness facilities. In 2022, Delta’s occupational health examination rate was 100%, health file coverage rate was 100%, and no occupational injury incidents occurred. In 2023, Delta won several awards for employee care and experience.
In terms of improving the level of corporate governance, Delta’s revenue rose to 12.89 billion US dollars in 2022. It invested more in R&D and got nearly 13,000 patents. It used power management technology to develop new businesses. It gave customers smart and energy-saving solutions for a smart and green future. It also joined RE100 and promised to use only renewable electricity and have zero carbon at all sites by 2030. It also set a goal of net zero emissions by 2050 and pledged to cut carbon emissions by 90% before 2030. Delta also did social welfare and funded research in power electronics and environmental law. It also shared ESG work and sustainable development information with stakeholders.
The 2023 China Corporate Social Responsibility (ESG) Forum was jointly organized by the China Enterprise Reform and Development Research Association under the supervision of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and Xinhua News Agency. Over the past 15 years, this forum has become a platform for all sectors of society in China to explore new concepts of ESG development and help enterprises achieve sustainable development.
