The new Taipei landmark, “Diamond Towers - Taipei Star,” is situated in the central living of Taipei. Recently, Delta provided an extensive energy-saving lighting to light up the cloud diamond landscape of the “Diamond Towers - Taipei Star”. Delta installed 79 AC EV chargers and DeltaGrid® EVM system on the basement. The system includes a unique lifting design to bring this project into the era of low-carbon transportation.

According to Mr. Roland Chiang, Deputy General Manager of Delta Building Automation Business Group (BABG), buildings are responsible for almost 40% of global carbon emissions, and transportation for around 20%, as reported by the statistics from the International Energy Agency in 2021. To achieve the goal of “Net Zero”, new buildings must factor in energy-saving solutions and EV charging infrastructure. Delta specializes in integrating building automation solutions for subsystems including lighting, HVAC, indoor air quality, security monitoring, and energy management. Additionally, Delta also has the capability to integrate renewable energy, energy storage systems, and EV charging infrastructure.
The lighting design of Taipei Star is embellished with clouds and highlights the diamond-shaped roof. Delta's comprehensive energy-saving lighting solution enables precise digital lighting control based on customizable time periods. It schedules the diamond landmark's illumination at night, creating a beautiful and tranquil garden landscape visual experience for the hotel's top-quality lobby. The underground parking lot has 79 AC EV chargers specifically for EVs managed and scheduled through the Delta DeltaGrid® EVM system. The system schedules and allocates power usage based on the station's demand, ensuring that the contracted capacity isn't exceeded even when the whole floor is charging simultaneously. The parking spaces without walls feature cutting-edge lifting charging stations that can be raised when not in use, doubling the space and creating a more spacious environment.
